In fact, people who make the application under the immediate plan will have a passport verification within three days. The plan has been amended for this facility. Apart from this, the Ministry of External Affairs has given great relief to passport applicants, in the immediate application, the Gazetted Officer has eliminated the mandatory requirement of certification.
But the Aadhar card must be deposited mandatory. In addition to the Aadhaar card, applicants above 18 years of age must submit two documents out of the prescribed 10 mandatory documents. Under the Passport (First Amendment) Rule 2018 issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, people of about 13 districts belonging to Ghaziabad Regional Office will get the benefit. In the immediate plan the fee will be Rs 3500 for one applicant.
The time duration has been reduced to three days instead of seven days. For normal passports, a fee of Rs 1500 is fixed for a passport. Only the passports of those people could be created on time, known to any gazetted officer, but now, under the new rules of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the common people can easily avail the immediate passport scheme. From Ghaziabad’s Regional Passport Office, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Hapur, Meerut, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bagpat, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Agra, Shamli, Hathras and Mathura districts are connected. Applicants here will be able to get passport in the immediate plan within three days.
Under the new rules in the application for immediate scheme, the Aadhar card has also been compulsory for applicants under the age of 18 years now. Apart from this, it is necessary to have one of the three prescribed documents. This includes the photo identity card of the student issued by the educational institution, the birth certificate issued and the birth certificate issued by the birth and death registration act and the ration card.
