Ookla, the network speed test company, has released the Fixed Broadband speed in India on Tuesday. In this ranking, India was included in all major cities, in which Chennai has become the fastest state with broadband speed. The fixed broadband download speed in Chennai is 32.67 Mbps, which is 57.7 percent faster than the average of the rest of the country. Please note that these analytics are based on the February 17, 2018 rear Consumer Initial Test Data.
In addition to Chennai, this test included cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam, which are faster than average with 20.72 Mbps speed. After Chennai, Bangalore is at number two.
There is 27.2 Mbps fixed broadband speed. Hyderabad is number three, Visakhapatnam is number four.
Delhi is at number five with the speed of 18.16 Mbps in this list. There is a list of 12.06 Mbps at the eighth place in Mumbai Top 5 City. Calcutta with the speed of 20.39 Mbps at number six in this list.
Remember that in February 2018 India was on the 67th rank all over the world with the speed and fixed broadband speed of 20.72 Mbps speed in the Global Index Speed Test. According to Oklah, fixed broadband download speed is increasing every month.
In this list, Bihar’s capital Patna is the city with the slowest broadband speed of 62.4 percent compared to the entire country.
Apart from Patna, cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, Pune and Nagpur have also been listed along with Slow Broadband Speed in this list.
Talk to the state level, Karnataka is considered to be the fastest state with a speed of 28.46 Mbps in February. Tamil Nadu is second on 27.94 Mbps.
Mizoram is the slowest speed state with 3.62 Mbps speed in this list, which is 82.5 percent more than the entire country.
Overall, with this list, four of the top five states have South India with fixed broadband download speed.
